On May 9, 2024, Ferrovial joined the most important global economy index alongside brands such as Apple, Amazon, Tesla, Microsoft, and Nvidia. This landmark event is a testament to the company's financial solidity and strategic development, which have enabled it to achieve significant market value and recognition on the international stage.
NASDAQ is one of the most renowned indices in the world, associated with large and dynamically growing companies. Being included in this index signifies that the company is perceived as stable and promising, enhancing its prestige and credibility in the eyes of investors, partners, and customers. Moreover, trading on the most liquid market in terms of financial turnover means that Ferrovial's shares will be available to a broad range of international and individual investors. The inclusion itself also strengthens the trust among current shareholders and business entities, demonstrating that the company is well-managed and focused on long-term growth.
Operationally, it is important to note that Ferrovial generates most of its revenue from North America. Therefore, its stock market performance in the US is particularly significant for the company as it seeks further investments in the USA and emphasizes the global reach of its business operations.
